Our story





Mia Bella Weddings is a full-service wedding coordination company located in Simi Valley, California. Started by Michele Spring 18 years ago, she has been serving couples at local wedding and event venues all over Ventura County and the surrounding areas.


Over the last 13 years Michele has been exclusively at Walnut Grove Weddings in Moorpark serving as the venue's Sales/Site Coordinator while her team offers seasoned experience to help couples plan and execute one of the most memorable days of their lives.

Our approach is simple and personal. Planning a wedding is exciting but it comes with many unknowns. These unknowns can cause stress and non-enjoyment of the experience. We walk you through the entire process from start to finish, guiding you along the way while offering fresh ideas, experienced advice and unique solutions. During this process we get the chance to know you, your individual style and how you want your wedding day to feel. It should be a representation of you as a couple. Every couple is unique and by getting a feel for your individual style and wants, we are able to execute the perfect day in the most stress-free way.



A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US




Katie McJimsey, Senior/Lead Coordinator, joined Michele several years ago. She has trained and learned from Michele directly to ensure consistency and excellent customer service.They tie together impeccable design, detailed planning, coordination and organization skills to present the most beautiful wedding of your dreams.

Coordination packages are for the client looking for a “hands on” approach to planning the event themselves, but want experienced professionals to handle the logistics and details on the actual event day so the client can just relax and enjoy themselves. Although it is recommended to hire a coordinator as far in advance as possible, the coordinator will actually become involved a month or so prior to the event and take the reins from there. Your coordinator’s role is to gather all the details and plans you have made then go over any details that may have been missed in the planning process. After all, you haven’t done this before. They will take the lead in communicating with the hired vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page and create a comprehensive timeline from set up to tear down. The day of the event, the coordinator leads the team to ensure everything is organized and runs smoothly from start to finish. Coordination packages also include full ceremony rehearsal.
